This course provides an overview of the a small radio station and how it gets it programs to the listeners from a technical view point.
Intermediate and Advanced courses are offers for a more in-depth knowledge of the technical aspects.
Other in-depth courses cover specific areas of operation of a station. e.g. Radio Automation , Audio Editing due to the level of knowledge required.
- Basic – to understand what does what and what that thing is called. Includes an intro to Audacity and Filezilla.
- Intermediate – to be able to connect stuff to together and check audio levels and transmitter levels to determine if everything is going OK. Includes an intro to some technical terms.
- Advanced – to be able to consider and design a radio station with respect to audio path and transmitter range. Some ACMA licensing terms and lots tech technical terms.
